Drift Study - June 6, 2007

Drifters were released in a transect off Birch Point on the flood. Drifter 1 went ashore at Birch Point in less than two hours. Drifters 2 and 3 got caught in an eddy off Birch Point before moving deeper into Cobscook Bay. Drifter 5 followed the flood current along the Perry shore toward East Bay. Drifter 4 eventually got caught in an eddy off Clement Point and swung back out into the central Bay. Drifter 5 followed the flood current along the Perry shore into East Bay.
